For golf guests who want somewhere stylish, relaxed, and right on the Bangor coast, The Nines Hotel is a brilliant accommodation option. Opened in April 2023 in an iconic building on Seacliff Road, The Nines has already made a name for itself with its freshly refurbished, modern bar and an intimate adjoining restaurant—perfect for a post-round dinner, a casual bite, or settling in with one of their signature cocktails as the sun drops over Belfast Lough.

Upstairs, the hotel offers 15 ensuite rooms designed for a seriously comfortable night’s sleep, with spacious layouts, crisp sheets, cosy warm beds and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout. Many of the rooms—especially the more premium options—enjoy dreamy sea views across Belfast Lough and Bangor Marina, giving the whole stay a proper coastal-getaway feel. The Nines is also upgrading rooms in phases (with the first newly refurbished “seaside hideouts” already available), so guests can enjoy a fresh, contemporary boutique vibe while the hotel continues to evolve—always with minimal disruption. It’s a superb base for golf in the area, with great food and atmosphere on-site, and that easy, welcoming Bangor neighbourhood charm you want at the end of a great day on the course.
