Nestled in the remote and tranquil estuary between Donabate and Malahide, this classic links is set amongst some of the tallest and most dramatic sand dunes on Ireland’s east coast. Just 15 minutes from Dublin Airport and 30 minutes from Dublin City Centre, it is both accessible and delightfully secluded. 

Overlooked by the charming village of Malahide, The Island is Ireland’s sixth oldest golf club and was ranked 10th in Irish Golfer’s Top 100 Courses in 2024. The course has hosted prestigious tournaments including Regional Qualifying for The Open Championship, stroke play qualifying for the British Amateur Championship, and the Irish Amateur Open.
